Not only is it built to the most exacting of Sonik’s famously high standards, but this rod also benefits from a huge number of technological advances that set it head and shoulders above the rest. One such technology is the use of Japanese Toray carbon fibre in the rod blanks. The Japanese are famous for being one step ahead of the game when it comes to technological innovation which is why the team at Sonik knew there was only one place to turn when they were looking for the latest material to use in their rod blanks. This Toray carbon fibre creates a rod blank that can offer an extremely powerful casting action. This is exceptionally important for the surf casting angler who needs their rod to be able to punch out far beyond the surf.
The rod also benefits from Fuji KWAG guides. These have been purpose chosen because of their universal usability and with this rod you can either fish with a fixed spool or a multiplier reel. This affords you a huge amount of coastal versatility and it allows you to switch up your angling style as and when you desire. The rod is also fitted with a custom built Sonik side-lock reel seat. This allows you to lock your reelin perfect position.
There are three different versions of the Sonik ZX Shore Rod, two of which are 13ft 5inches in length. These rods offer optimal casting weights of 4oz – 6oz and 5oz – 7oz respectively. There is also an additional extra long 14ft 5inch rod, which also boasts an optimal casting weight of between 5oz and 7oz. No matter your angling style there is always a Sonik ZX Shore Rod for you.

Return of goods & Refunds
Any incorrect or damaged goods must be reported within 5 days of receipt. These will be replaced as soon as possible at no expense to yourself. All unwanted items must be either returned at your own expense or taken into your local Angling Direct store.
