The Sonik Xtractor Recon Spod / Marker Rod has been designed to fill a gap in the market for affordable top-quality rods that are easy to transport due to their short pack down lengths. The popularity of short, semi-telescopic carp rods has dramatically increased and these Sonik Xtractor Spod/Marker Rods have been designed to cover a range of carp fishing situations ensuring they are perfect for both finding the perfect fishing spot using marker floats or baiting up using spods/spombs.
This carp fishing rod features a slim, silk matt black carbon fibre blank with a progressive casting action which offers amazing power on the cast giving these fishing rods true multi-range performance, with enough back bone in the rod to cope with even the largest spods/spombs at incredible distance with frightening accuracy. Yet the top section of this rod is soft enough to easily feel a lead down and map out the contours of your peg on marker floats. Sonik have used super light M-Series DL black guides throughout these spod rods, making these fishing rods incredibly lightweight. A hard wearing anti-frap ceramic tip rig also features with these Sonik Xtractor Fishing Rods incorporating a black 17mm DPS reel seat which will house even the largest of spod reels.
Keeping with the sleek Sonik Rod style, this spod rod features a slim Japanese shrink rubber handle, line friendly custom contoured Sonik clip and a black anodised butt cap that has been laser etched with the trademark Sonik S logo. Available in a range of sizes including 8ft and 12ft spod/marker rods with incredibly small pack down sizes thanks to the double extending handles.
