The ST RA reel is the advanced version of Shimano’s classic Baitrunner series. With all the features that Baitrunner fans have come to know and love, this reel features additional extras that really lift it above the pack. The ST RA Baitrunner features a number of patented Shimano systems that ensure perfection every time.
The line lay is perfect every time when you the ST RA Baitrunner, thanks to Shimano’s very own varispeed system. The dyna-balance system balances the reel by reducing wobble, providing you with an ultra-smooth performance, and the power roller reduces line twist during the retrieve exponentially, and provides outstanding advantages when using a monofilament or braid.
The super stopper II gives zero free play when the reel is set in anti-reverse modes, allowing you to set your quiver tip micro-incrementally. The floating shaft II feature seriously reduces the friction at the point at which the spool drive shaft meets the pinion. By incorporating bearings into this join, the area where the shaft and pinion touch has been greatly reduced giving a floating effect and significantly elongating reel life.
All of this isn’t even to mention the Baitrunner itself: a lever that is located on the rear of the reel, the primary purpose of which is to set the reel to allow the line to be released in a controlled free spool. This technology is so popular that has now become a standard for big fish reels, although as soon as you experience the real thing you’ll never turn back.

Return of goods & Refunds
