These float rods comprise of a high modulus carbon blank, which has a quick fast tapered action that leaves sufficient reserves in the spine of the float fishing rod whilst also making this waggler rod great for playing fish and avoiding hook pulls at the landing net. These float rods have been designed with enough power to land all sizes of fish from small dace and roach to large hard fighting carp and barbel whilst allowing you to fish with a wide variety and weights of fishing floats. As with all Matrix Rods, only the finest materials have been used with quality lightweight match guides, that allow your line to flow through the rings of this rod with ease. A secure reel seat has been used which allows these float rods to be used with a range of fishing reels.
Matrix have used a handle on these float rods comprising both high grade cork and EVA composite which gives both an excellent casting and fish playing action. A great addition to these waggler rods is an hook keeper, which allows you to hook your fishing rig, preventing it from tangling when the rod is not in use. For easy transport and storage, these float rods have been designed to break down equally and come supplied in a rod bag. Available in two lengths, an 11ft rod, which makes the perfect pellet waggler rod for fishing for both carp and f1s. There is also a 13ft rod available which is the ideal choice for float control.
