Korum have centred the design of this reel around a corrosion-resistant graphite body and rotor, that also offers a great deal of stiffness and strength whilst being incredibly light so it perfectly matches with your fishing rod. Fitted with a 5 ball bearings + 1 needle bearing, which ensures that the reel will always run smoothly and reliably, even when used intensively! For additional power and confidence when playing large fish such as carp and barbel, Korum have also incorporated a high accuracy one-way clutch anti reverse system and front drag operation. A on/off auto free spool system features on these fishing reels, which allows aggressive biting fish to take line off the reel on the bite, ensuring your fishing rod is not pulled off the rest, but as soon as you turn the reel, this system automatically switches off, allowing you to play the fish normally.
To minimize tangles and to give you full confidence when casting, Korum have included an anti-twist titanium line roller and a oversized aluminium bail arm on this fishing reel. To keep the reel lightweight so it will perfectly balance with any fishing rod, the spool of this fishing reel has been made from machined and anodised aluminium. For accuracy when casting, this spool on this free spool reel also features a line friendly line clip. To ensure you can easily store and pack away this fishing reel in any ready rod holdall or rod sleeve, a compact folding handle reel design has been used. Another handy feature on this reel is an ambidextrous handle shape which accommodates for both right and left handed anglers, ensuring that all anglers can feel the full benefit of this Korum Reel. This fishing reel handle has been machined from aluminium CNC and features a moulded EVA handle grip for maximum comfort and grip when reeling in. Available in two sizes; a 4500 and 5500, the Korum Radius Freespool Reel is a must have addition to your coarse fishing tackle.
