This design feature facilitates fast and clean ejection of the lead when fishing drop off style. The swivel is strategically positioned near the lead's centre of mass, to improve hooking efficiency. This placement leverages the heavier portion of the lead, resulting in more effective and reliable pick-ups. The Solidz lead comes supplied with a hard insert, which can be replaced by a softer shockleader sleeve if preferred.
