Each of the Korda ready-tied rigs have been tied to exacting standards, using the same knots and techniques that Korda's Danny Fairbrass uses for his own rigs. That means that each ready-tied rig has been constructed using Dan’s special whipping knot, which gives unrivalled neatness and allows the knot to sit perfectly on the shank.
Additionally, rather than Korda simply releasing one version, they have taken into consideration the fact that some anglers prefer short choddies, whereas others like a longer version, and released both types. They are a range of chod rig hook sizes available too from size 4 to 10. These sizes in chod length mean that you can pick the perfect ready-tied rig for a naked chod rig or opt for longer, like a traditional lead core rig.
All of the Korda Chod rigs are tied with Mouth Trap which is one of the most workable stiff-rig material ever meaning that if your ready-tied chod gets knocked out of shape during a battle, you can simply work it back into shape. The Mouth Trap is tied to the ever-reliable Choddy hook, which practically guarantees a secure hook hold.
The rigs are available in both barbed and barbless versions, which come supplied in packs of three.
