The Korda Mini Heli-Safe is a tool that allows anglers to fish quickly and effectively, by simply attaching it with the product's lead. Once hooked up you can rely on this system for quick release! The Korda Mini Heli-Safe is a much smaller system, which not only makes it less obtrusive on the lake bed; but also reduces drag through the air and will improve your distance when fishing at extreme range. The Korda Mini Heli-Safe is also less likely to get caught in weeds or snags during the fight, once you've jettisoned your lead.
The Korda Mini Heli-Safe comes fitted with a special tensioning spring that allows you to lower the lead as soon as there is any pressure on top of it. The new Korda Mini Heli-Safe is provided with a red spring that requires more pressure to eject the lead. This is ideal for situations where you only need to get rid of the lead on the odd occasion, and the lake is free from weed and snags; it also comes with a collar, just like the original, that prevents the lead from being ejected at all.
It can be fished naked or with leadcore and comes with a half barrel swivel in size 11. Although it is smaller, it is extremely strong and can handle the force of using any of the leads in our range, even when casting at great distances.
