Greys Platinum X Competition Fly Line, The Greys Platinum X fly line range features a range of models to put your fly in the zone time and again. Standard floating lines are designed in a Tri-colour format with a medium length head and full-size heavy design that allows all anglers to fully exploit modern fast action fly rods whilst maintaining delicacy. The slick, smooth coating is low in memory with excellent handling feel and a low diameter running line. Also available as a midge tip with a short intermediate tip section, ideal for fishing both nymphs and just sub surface with washing line tactics. All sinking models in the Platinum X range of fly lines are twin colour with an intermediate density running line and aggressive full-size heavy distance casting taper, ideal for both boat and bank tactics. For the technical river angler, a unique twin taper WF line is also available. Featuring a delicate 9g extended WF profile that can be reversed and used as a level Euro Nymph line complete with an indicator mono core and fitted micro ring.
