The in-turned eye means that the hook is less likely to be turned over or damaged when fishing over large stones or gravel which you are likely to encounter when barbel fishing on rivers.
Manufactured from extra strong forger, double tempered, high carbon steel these Gardner hooks have been designed to be plenty strong enough to handle the biggest of Barbel even in the strongest flow on powerful rivers such as the Trent and Wye. The hooks are finished in a matt, anti-glare coating, so as to remain inconspicuous to Barbel in even the clearest of water and are a razor sharp to ensure that you hook every bite! Available in two sizes 8 and 10 which are perfect for all barbel fishing in barbed only.
