After the success of the Fox Rage Prism rods, Fox are back ahead of this coming winter season with the brand new Fox Rage Prism X line.
The range focuses on predatorfishing and the tactics and rigs associated with targeting such species; dropshotting, jerk casting and spinning both close and at range are possible thanks to the Prism X Range.
The Prism X rods are real workhorses, all rods feature brilliant through action and balance to deliver a superb lure fishing experience, lure fishing is heavily dependent on a right setup and having the right balance of tackle can result in your being able to feel every snag, nibble or bite from the comfort of a boat or the bank.
This particular rod is the Fox Rage Prism X Light Spin Rod, which is perfect for your Jerk setup used to target larger specimen bass. There is a single rod of 210cm, which has a casting weight of 2-8cm grams, plenty of leeway for small lures, spinners and shads.
The rods themselves are built on a high-modulus carbon blank and feature EVA grips and handles. As for the design the Prism X range is fairly subtle for a Fox Rage product, featuring small branding on the base of the blank.
The Prism X rods are incredibly lightweight and well-balanced. When using the rods its easy to tell they have all been fully optimised in terms of through action, the Pike spin rods have great strength in the butt section, ensuring your able to haul larger pike towards your net. Whilst the dropshotting rods are sensitive and register timid nibbles from smaller, warier perch.
