The first area where these carp rods have been improved compared to previous models, is the carbon used in the fishing rods construction with the Fox Horizon X3-S Carp Rods featuring a higher quality carbon. This ultra-high modulus carbon is used in the rod blanks and is stronger and much more powerful than before, ensuring you have more power in the rod when casting and playing large carp. However, by using a high quality carbon fibre, the tip sections of the rod are soft enough to absorb any powerful lunges at the net, without risking pulling the hook. To enhance casting accuracy, Fox have utilised multidirectional carbon fibre which helps to reduce twist through the blank, allowing you to effectively transfer more power to carp rod on the cast and ensure that you cast flies straight ahead with pinpoint accuracy.
Anti tangle Minima style guides have been used throughout these carp rods that won’t break or bend, whilst offering an understated stylish look and the anti-frap tip will prevent your fishing line from wrapping around on the cast, not only preventing crack-offs but also give you full confidence when casting your rig out. Fox have also incorporated an 18mm Fuji DPS reel seat on this carp rod which allows you to fish with even the largest of big pit fishing reels. These carp rods feature a cork handle that has been designed to offer the optimum grip when casting and playing fish. These Fox carp rods are finished off with understated cosmetics and a 3K wrapped blank. Available in a range of sizes from 10ft to 12ft to cover all carp fishing venues and scenarios with a range of test curves from 3lb to 3.5lb which gives carp anglers a rod to suit their requirements.
