If you’re looking for a top quality specialist rodfor a variety of river angling then you need look no further; the FoxDuo-Lite rods are the ideal tools for the job. There are two different styles of rod in the range, each of which has been purpose designed to ensure that you can get the best out of your specialist fishingsession. This ensures that, no matter your angling style, you always have the perfect equipment to enhance your ability.
The first rod in the range is 12ft and offers a test curve of 2.25lb. This rod has been purpose designed for the modern specialist angler and it is perfect for a variety of barbel fishing techniques. In fact, many anglers consider this rod to be the ultimate all-rounder when it comes to barbel fishing. The rod boasts a solid tip, which is ideal for touch legering and bolt rigging. It also comes with a quiver section and two push in tips, which are rated at 4oz and 6oz respectively. These are perfect when you’re fishing for barbel up stream. They are also ideal for use when chub fishing, as they offer you the extra sensitivity that you require.
The second rod type in the range is a twin tip. This rod comes in two different lengths – 11ft and 12ft – and both rod lengths have 1.l75lb and 2.25lb tips. Both of these tips are solid to ensure they are exceptionally durable. These twin tip rods both offer a powerful through action and they boast a solid lower middle and butt section. Once again this rod is an ideal all-rounder for the modern specialist angler who is looking to target river barbel.
All of the Fox Duo-Lite rods are built on a high modules blank which incorporates both 2k and 1k carbon fibre. They offer high grade full cork handles, Fuji 17mm DPS style screw down reel seats, and doubled legged Fox Slik guides. In order to get the most from your rods Fox recommends pairing them with an 8lb – 12lb monofilament mainline.
