The Drennan Vertex 12ft Distance Pellet Waggler has a nice through action which is great for playing fish and for avoiding hook pulls. Available in 10ft, 11ft and 12ft and designed for accurate casting of wagglers and pellet wagglers. Ideal for commercial fisheries and all sizes of fish from F1's to bigger hard fighting carp. Ideal float reel lines are 4b to 6lb breaking strain (0.16 to 0.22mm) fished with lighter hook lengths. The rod is perfect for repeat casting all sizes of wagglers. These new rods feature a high-grade cork handle with EVA casting grip, screw down reel seat, hook keeper ring, SiC guides throughout and stylish new Vertex branding.

The Drennan Vertex Distance Pellet Waggler Rod 12ft is part of the new Drennan Vertex Rod range which has replaced the acclaimed Drennan Series 7 rods, and uses the very latest materials and manufacturing techniques to create a range of fishing rods which is perfect for all coarse fishing situations.
This Drennan Vertex rod comprises a high modulus carbon rod blank with a nice through action which makes the rod great for playing fish and avoiding hook pulls at the landing net. This fishing rod has been designed with enough power to land all sizes of fish from F1’s to large hard fighting carp but still allow you to accurately cast wagglers and pellet wagglers on a variety of commercial fisheries, from large open lakes where you need to cast at distance to smaller lakes where you need to cast up to an island.
As with all Drennan rods, only the finest materials have been used with full SIC guides being used throughout the rod. A secure DPS reel seat has been used which allows the rod to be ranged with a range of fishing reels. Drennan have used a high grade cork rod handle with an EVA casting grip which gives both an excellent casting and fish playing action. This Drennan Vertex rod is finished off with the new stylish Vertex branding and a hook keeper ring which is perfect for keeping your rig safe when not in use.
