Dave Harrell No.6 Bolo Float
The Dave Harrell No.6 Bolo Float features a new design based on the no.2 bolo but with a more streamlined body shape, long carbon stem and thinner 3mm hollow insert. Similar in design to a large pole float, the shape of these bolo floats makes them easy to control on flowing water. Ideal for fishing with a variety of baits including maggots, casters and hemp.
The tip of these bolo floats are extremely visible, even in low light conditions or when fishing at distance, so you are able to dot these river floats to a pimple and still be able to see them at the end of your swim. The hollow tip on these bolo floats is also incredibly buoyant, so it allows you to fish over depth without submerging the float, great for catching bigger fish. Dave Harrell has used a strong carbon stem on these fishing floats for maximum strength and also to prevent any tables when fishing deeper swims with longer lengths of line. The body construction of these floats also makes them incredibly strong and durable. Dave Harrell recommends using these bolo floats with a bulk in the form of an in line olivette around 18inchs to 2ft from the hook with a single drop shot of either a no.8 or no.6, positioned about 10 inches from the hook. This bolo float is attached to the line with float rubbers at the tom and on the stem. Available in sizes from 2g to 5g, the Dave Harrell No.6 Bolo Float is a must have addition to any anglers coarse fishing tackle.
