Description

Dave Harrell No.2 Alloy Avon, Our original No1 Alloy Avon soon became a big success with anglers all over the UK and abroad but there are times when the tops of the floats can be a little too big and buoyant. This No2 model was developed with species like roach, dace and chub in mind and all five sizes feature long alloy stems and smaller diameter, tapered tops. The reason for this taper is to allow the angler to shot the float well down when a bulk rig as well as a reasonable amount of sensitivity is required. The shouldered design allows the angler to hold back quite hard in strong flow.

Dave Harrell No.2 Alloy Avon Float

The Dave Harrell No.2 Alloy Avon Float follows on from the success of the no.1 Alloy Avon floats but now with a smaller more sensitive tip. This fishing float was developed with species like roach, dace and chub in mind with all sizes featuring long stems and smaller diameter, tapered tops. These tapered tops have been used as they allow the angler to shot the float well down when using a bulk rig in situations where a reasonable amount of sensitivity is required. The shouldered design also allows angler to hold the float back quite hard in strong flowing water.

The tip of these floats is extremely visible, even in low light conditions or when fishing at distance, so you are able to dot these river floats to a pimple and still be able to see them at the end of your swim. The tip on these floats is also incredibly buoyant, so it allows you to fish over depth without submerging the float, great for catching bigger fish. Dave Harrell has used a strong alloy stem on these fishing floats for maximum strength. The body construction of these floats also makes them incredibly strong and durable, so you can have full confidence when fishing near snags or for bigger powerful fish. These river floats are attached to the line with float rubbers at the top and on the stem. Available in sizes from 2g to 6g, the Dave Harrell No.2 Alloy Avon Float is a must have addition to any anglers coarse fishing tackle.
