You will not easily forget that you saw this reel as its distinctive and edgy look will force you to a second glance. Once you handle it, all will make sense as this is no ordinary arrival in the Daiwa range. In fact you might think it a bit alien!
Taking its pedigree from the Tournament reels before it our designers have integrated an improved BR mechanism with a spool stroke the same size as the TS5000T but at a more compact range of spool diameters.
The BR system continues to employ our positive and safer 'pull back' lever with the tension adjuster easily accessible at the rear. Easily capable of retrieving up to 89cm per handle turn the Linears eat distance and ooze power thanks to one of the lowest gear ratios we have ever applied to a reel.
And for those who know, Daiwa's front drag systems deliver. The Linear range combine six washers, some Teflon impregnated, with a coil spring and micro adjustment to ensure you have direct and accurate control.
The attractive spool skirt houses our enhanced and patented line clip, developed specifically for the Linear range. Featuring a special internal line friendly collar and spring loading this clip, of which their are two on the X, has been created to assist with distance control where required.
With the added performance of Digigear and up to eight ball bearings on the X (of which four are CRBBs) the Linears are true ground breakers of the BR world. Others can run, but they cannot hide!

Return of goods & Refunds
Any incorrect or damaged goods must be reported within 5 days of receipt. These will be replaced as soon as possible at no expense to yourself. All unwanted items must be either returned at your own expense or taken into your local Angling Direct store.
