Daiwa’s Seahunter Z range is one of the most popular sea fishing rodcollections around. This is because it is one of the few rod ranges that acknowledges the huge variety of sea fishingopportunities there are on the UK’s coastline. Although the UK might be a small landmass on the global scale, as an island nation we are surrounded miles of highly varied coastline offering up a wealth of sea fishing opportunities. The Daiwa team has a deep understanding of this and as such they have developed no fewer than 11 rods in this impressive range. This Seahunter Z is the rough ground edition of the classic surf rod and it has been designed to cope with the specific problems that occur when you find yourself fishing in snaggy areas on the UK’s beaches.
As with all the rods in the Seahunter Z range these RG rods have been built on highly durable carbon blanks. These blanks provides continued reliable performance, ensuring you are able to cast out as far as you need whilst also being able to cope with the more aggressive fight that you’ll encounter when you’re bringing in a fighting fish over rough ground. The guides on the rod have been constructed from hard chromed aluminium oxide to ensure that they can withstand the highly corrosive nature of saltwater. The RG version of the Seahunter Z rods are available in 12ft and 13ft lengths. This ensures that these rods have the ability to hit far out beyond the surf with relative ease, enabling you to be able to reach the fish that are out there waiting. Both the 12ft and the 13ft versions of the Seahunter Z RG have multi-fixed spool reel seats, giving you the versatility to fish with either a multiplier reel or a fixed spool reel.
