Producing fishing tackle since 1955, Daiwa still aims to produce the most technically advanced fishing equipment in the world. This is an aim that is routinely met, and Daiwa is a world leader in coarse, carp, sea, and Predator fishing products.
The Prorex range from Daiwa is designed to give the modern predator angler the right equipment to proactively seek out the kings of the predator world. With this Prorex S Baitcasting Rod series, a specialist lure angler is certain to succeed.
Perfect for the predator angler that utilises lure fishing in UK and European waters, the S Baitcasting rods lend themselves perfectly to the larger lure patterns that anglers may use to draw in the predators.
A great baitfish representation can be created when paired with the right lure and reel and this rod ensures it can handle those predator lunges as soon as they begin to strike. Made with HVF carbon fibre, this rod has a slim light blank structure which is reinforced with X45 layering.
The S series of baitcasters rods are strong, light and a pleasure to cast with a multitude of predator styles. Casting is assisted with the Fuji Guide with Fazlite Rings and a reel can be safely secured with the Fuji SKSS Reel Seat.
For great grip, the rod sports an Cork Rear grip which not only lasts longer than cork but tends to get less slippery when wet.
The baitcasting rods come in two lengths of 8ft and 8ft 6. The shorter has a casting weight of 120g whereas the longer is 150g casting weight capable.
