This makes it an incredibly versatile rod and with it you can turn you hand to a variety of angling styles, including light legering, heavy feeder work, or even float fishing. The Daiwa Black Widow Specialist Twin Top is 12ft in length and is built with a full carbon blank. The carbon construction ensures that this rod can offer the perfect balance between casting ability and fish playing sensitivity – ideal for uses across the disciplines, no matter what species you’re targeting. The blank is slim and offers a sharp action, perfectly complementing both of the supplied tops. The first rod tip is a fixed 2oz fibre glass quiver tip. This is a highly sensitive tip that is ideal for use when you’re targeting smaller species, or species whose bite is fairly delicate. The second tip that comes supplied with the rod is a hollow tubular tip. Ideal for fishing with big feeders for large fish, as well as for float fishing on fast flowing waters, this tip is very versatile. The blank itself offers a 1.75lb test curve, ensuring it is sensitive to register light bites no matter which tip your use.
The rod is fitted with a DPS reel seat with a down locking EVA grip, keeping your reel in perfect position. The cork handle on the rod maintains its light weight and the EVA grip ensures that you never have to worry about loosing your rod after a fast take. The rod is finished in a low glare matt.
