If you’re an angler who regularly fishes in the very brightest conditions, or you’re someone with very sensitive vision, then these Costa del Mar Rooster Sunglasses are ideal for you. With a name derived from the elusive Roosterfish, these sunglasses have been purpose built to keep you focussed on what’s in front of you. This is why the frame of these glasses has been designed to cup the side of your face, ensuring that you don’t suffer from additional light seeping through the sides of your glasses. This makes them the perfect ultra-bright light glasses.
Two of six lens options in this range have been designed to cope with ultra-bright light conditions. These are the green and blue options in the range and both of these lenses have been designed with sea fishing in mind. The blue lens option is ideal for all your offshore fishing needs and it is supplied in a white and blue frame. The green lens has been purpose built for shore fishing and is supplied in a black frame. This is also the only lens that is built out of 580 glass rather than 580 plastic. Offering minimal difference in terms of base level performance, the glass lens constructions allows for Costa to include encapsulated mirroring. This is essential for creating the kind of contrast and polarisation that you require when you’re fishing from the beach as it allows you to differentiate between the blue and green of the sea and the yellow of the sand.
The silver lens in the range has been designed for those bright freshwater fishing days when the clouds are a blanket of brilliant white across the sky. With its copper base this lens option can also cope well with variable light conditions. The copper lens is ideal for variable light conditions and is perfect for all your carp fishing needs. The grey lens in the range has been designed to suit all purposes and it is as ideal for use on the bank as it is on the bank. The final lens option in the range is in Costa’s unique sunrise colour. This is perfect for dawn and dusk angling, whether that’s on the sea or on the bank.
