There are six different lens options in the Corbina range of glasses, ensuring that you’re always able to enjoy perfect vision – no matter the conditions you face or the discipline you fish. At the low-light end of the spectrum Costa produces a pair of sunrise lenses. These have been purpose designed to enhance colours, making dawn and dusk fishing a breeze, and in the Corbina range they come supplied in mossy oak lenses. These are the only lenses in the range that are not suitable for driving because of the way they manipulate traffic signal colours.

Moving up the light spectrum Costa produces copper lenses. These increase colour saturation and contrast, making them ideal for mid light level angling when conditions are overcast but bright – as is so often the case in the UK. For the angler who wants a pair of solid all-round sunglasses Costa’s grey frames are ideal. Supplied in a black frame, these look most like traditional non-sporting sunglasses and are as ideal for everyday wear as they are for intensive angling use. These sunglasses operate most like standard glasses too and, whilst they still offer the 100% polarisation and 100% UV protection that Costa is famous for, they do not alter the saturation or contrast of your surroundings. As the light levels get brighter so do Costa’s lenses. The first of these brighter light lenses is silver. Uniquely constructed with a copper base, this lens shares many of its enhancing properties with the copper lenses.

At the very top of the spectrum are Costa’s green and blue lenses. The green lenses are the only ones in the range that are constructed form glass rather than plastic. This gives them a minute edge in terms of weightlessness and it also allows Costa to implement its encapsulated mirror technology. This allows you to see with acute clarity in even the brightest light and this green lens has been purpose designed for shore fishing. The blue lenses offer a similar acuteness of clarity, this time geared up for fishing far out to sea.
