No matter how long you are spending at the bankside, something warm and tasty to eat can truly lift your spirits when you are perhaps blanking or are wanting to reward yourself after a great catch.

The Deep Fill Sandwich Toaster XL from RidgeMonkey is a limited edition product that offers a simple no fuss, no mess way to make great toasted snacks every time. It doesn’t just do toasties either: pies, slices, naans, wraps, omelettes, even chips, pizza or a full English breakfast as this is technically a double-sided pan!

The Toastie maker features a sleek Gunmetal Grey finish, original style fixed handles and riveted hinges to make opening up to use both sides of the pan easier. The toaster XL is easy to use, you simply fill the toaster baseplate with the snack of your choice, lock the handles and place over medium heat on an adequately sized stove. Be wary not to overheat the toaster and to cook on low to medium temperatures only, you do not want to burn your food!

Make sure whilst your snack is over the heat to turn frequently and check your toastie periodically and turn out when done to your liking, being careful not to touch the hot aluminium plates. It is ideal to take along non-abrasive utensils.

Unlike using other pots and pans when fishing, the RidgeMonkey Toaster is easy to clean down for future use at the bank with a clean cloth or sponge in hot soapy water, give it a quick wipe down. When at home you can stick the toaster in the dishwasher for a deeper clean, however, with this being a non-stick product it may be better to hand clean but make sure not to soak the pans as this will affect the non-stick surface.
