This rod boasts all the technological advancement of the last decade and it shows significant improvement over any rod previously designed by Century. Computer aided design and manufacture ensures that each carp rod is produced to the same level of perfection – a feat that was previously impossible even with the highest examination performed by one of Century’s experts.

The Century SP benefits from patented autoclave technology. This is a curing process that ensures that the low density carbon resin rod can withstand a high level of torque. Anti twist technology maintain casting ring alignment, even on aggressive casts, ensuring you’re able to achieve mind-blowing distance casts. This makes this rod ideal for use on the UK’s biggest venues, as well as on the largest carp fishing waters that continental Europe has to offer. The Century SP has 3K carbon weave below the reel seat, with 1K carbon weave from the seat to the first ring. This gives the rod an outstanding amount of power building ability, contributing not only to its impressive casting action but also giving benefits when you’re playing a huge carp. 50mm guide configurations on both of the rods in the range ensure that you’re not at risk of tangling your line on a high powered cast.

The Century SP if finished in a matt all black, giving it a classy modern look. The blank is coated in a scratch resistant silicone material, too, so this rod will look good even a decade after you purchase it.
