Built around a super strong durable bedchair frame with 8 legs spaced for maximum support, this avid bed chair features an innovative TLS lumbar design for the ultimate flat mattress. With reduced elasticity and no more sagging, the firm base sheet enhances the feel and softness of the memory foam mattress, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. Avid have also engineered machined dual pivoting CNC hinges on this Avid Bedchair, setting a new standard for flat hinge design. These hinges are not only incredibly strong and reliable but also provide the flattest mattress and frame possible, ensuring a better sleep for you. This Avid Bedchair also features the renowned LevelTech leg design with a few small upgrades such as larger springs and an improved track design, to create arguably the strongest and easiest to operate leg system on the market.
This LevelTech system from Avid is the first of its kind and features a stepped track on the inner leg of this Avid Benchmark Ultra X Bedchair. The cam system on the outer part of the leg uses a pivoting lever with a double tooth design that when engaged, slots securely into the track on the inner leg. The Cam also features no moving parts. Instead of using a traditional spring system to engage the Cam, the LevelTech system uses opposing magnets to engage the teeth into the track, making for a longer-lasting, more robust and maintenance-free system when using your Avid Bedchair and makes levelling your Avid Bedchair on the bank as easy as pushing a button. Compatible with all Avid sleeping bags and many others on the market.
