How To Tie The Turbo German Rig

In this AD Quickbite we show you how to tie the Turbo German Rig. The German rig is arguably one of the most popular wafter rigs out there. However, the Turbo German Rig is most defiantly an improved version with quick change properties.

Products required

Step 1

Trim off your required length of Korda boom and attach the spinner swivel using the crimp and crimping pliers as shown.

Step 2

Trim 2-3mm off your kicker using the scissors.

Step 3

Slide the kicker over the hook, then attach the hook onto the spinner swivel.

Step 4

Secure the hook in place by sliding the kicker over the spinner swivel as shown.

Step 5

Slide your mini ring swivel onto the hook followed by a hook bead as shown.

Step 6

Crimp your boom to your chosen lead arrangement.

Step 7

Finally add a balanced hook bait such as a snowman presentation or a wafter.
