AD Quickbite - How To Tie The Multi Rig

The Multi Rig is one of carp fishing’s most versatile and successful rigs. A brilliant and versatile pop up rig that can be fished almost anywhere on any venue, whether it be to showing fish, low weed, silt and gravel. The Multi Rig has great hooking potential with the added bonus of being able to change the hook in seconds!

Items required

Step 1

Trim off your chosen length of hooklink, then tie a figure of eight loop of approximately 2 inches. 

Step 2

Use the stripper tool to strip back 5mm of the outer coating of the braid just below the knot.

Step 3

Thread your hook and micro ring swivel onto the loop as shown. 

Step 4

Pass the loop over the point of the hook and pull into the posistion shown in the picture.

Step 5

Thread on your anti-tangle sleeve then tie a figure of eight loop knot.

Step 6

Finally mould the correct amount of putty around the knot to balance your chosen pop up.
