AD Quickbite - How To Tie The Combi Multi Rig

In this AD Quickbite, we demonstrate how to tie the Combi-Multi Rig. The Combi-Multi Rig is a single rig that reaps the benefits of both the well-known Combi Rig and Multi Rig. Bringing the quick hook change property to the rig, also makes the Combi-Multi fishing rig a firm favourite for the carp angler.

Items required

Step 1

Cut off 30cm of fluorocarbon, and cut off 20cm of the braid. Tie an Albright knot to connect a braided loop at the end of your fluorocarbon.

Step 2

Slide an anti-tangle sleeve onto the fluorocarbon, then tie a figure of eight loops.

Step 3

Using the baiting needle thread, a short section of silicone onto the braided loop. 

Step 4

Thread on your hook, followed by the mini ring swivel as shown.

Step 5

Pass the loop over the hook to form a multi-rig presentation and secure it with the silicone as shown.

Step 6

Finally, mold a small piece of putty around the knot, then attach your chosen hook bait.
