AD Quickbite - How To Tie Ali Hamidi's OMC Bloodliner ‘Slip D’ Rig

Ali Hamidi’s choice of slip D rig utilizes some of the brand new One More Cast (OMC) range. By using the bloodline aligners, you can even make the hook attractive too!. This rig suite a pop up bait perfectly but also works great as a wafter rig if you take away the dog bone sinkers and putty.

Items required

Step 1

Cut your required length of coated braid, then using your stripper tool strip off 7-8cm of coating.

Step 2

Make a small loop in the braid and pass through the eye of the hook as shown.

Step 3

Thread your mini-ring swivel onto the loop.

Step 4

Pass the loop over the hook, then secure with a knotless knot.

Step 5

Thread your bloodline aligner onto the hook link and push onto the hook as shown, then thread on the dog bone sinker.

Step 6

Thread on your anti-tangle sleeve, then tie a figure of eight loops.

Step 7

Finally, add a small amount of putty around the dog bone sinker, then simply add your favorite pop-up.
