AD Quickbite - How To Tie A Specimen Tench Rig

In this AD QuickBite we take a look at a fully optimised specimen tench rig. If you're planning on targeting tench this spring/summer you need to have this rig in your arsenal

Here is the step by step for the Tench rig.

Step 1

You will need the following.

 

Step 2

Thread the inline feeder onto your mainline, tie on the quick-change swivel and pull into the feeder.

 

Step 3

Tie on your hook to around 10 inches of fluorocarbon, then thread a fake maggot onto the hook mag aligner style.

 

Step 4

Thread an anti-tangle sleeve onto the hooklink then tie a small figure of eight loop. Try to keep length short around 4 inches.

 

Step 5

Before you attach the hooklink to the QC swivel use the pulla tools straighten the rig.

 

Step 6

Bait the hook with 3-4 live maggots, fill the feeder then catch tench....
