AD Quickbite - How To Tie A Simple Pop Up Rig

No complicated knots or components! In this AD QuickBite we demonstrate how to tie this simple but very effective pop up rig!

Items required

Step 1

Trim off 40cm of N-trap hooklink and strip of a small section of the coating.

Step 2

Tie a small hair loop in the uncoated section.

Step 3

Attach your pop up to gauge the length of the hair.

Step 4

Tie on the hook using a 9 turn knotless knot.

Step 5

Strip back 5mm of coating below the hook.

Step 6

Pinch a split shot onto the stripped back section to balance the pop-up.

Step 7

Attach the rig to your lead clip swivel using a grinner knot, you are now ready to fish.
