AD Quickbite - How To Tie A Simple Flatfish Rig

In this AD QuickBite we walk you through how to tie the Flatfish Rig, one of the greatest sea fishing rigs. It's a very easy rig to tie if you fancy targeting flatfish, or if you're just happy to catch anything that swims. The Flatfish Rig will get the job done.

Item's required...

Step 1

Trim off a 1.5m length of you rig body material, then attach a link clip to the end.

Step 2

Thread on your beads, crimps and snood swivels as shown.

Step 3

Attach your mainline swivel to the top of the rig body.

Step 4

Crimp your bottom snood swivel 15cm above the link clip, then crimp the top snood swivel 70cm from the top swivel.

Step 5

Tie two snoods 50cm in length and tread 6 fluorescent bead onto each snood.

Step 6

Attach your two snoods to the snood swivels, then clip your weight to the link clip and your now ready to fish.
