AD Quickbite - How To Tie Blowback Rigs

In this AD Quickbite video we show you exactly how to tie a blowback rig, a popular carp fishing rig for anglers up and down the country. It can be fished with bottom baits or pop-ups and has fooled some of the wariest carp in the country.

Items required.

Step 1

Trim off your required rig length then strip back 3-4inches of outer coating.

Step 2

Tie a small hair loop, then attach your rig ring approximately 30mm below the loop using a simple over hand knot. 

Step 3

Thread the rig ring over the point of the hook then secure in place with a knotless knot.

Step 4

Thread on your kicker, then push it onto the eye of the hook.

Step 5

Thread on your anti tangle sleeve then tie a small figure of eight loop.

Step 6

This rig is perfect for a snow man type bait.
