Step 1

Select your zig rig and thread a short piece of bait floss under the zig rigger with your needle.

Step 2

Thread 5-6 maggots onto the floss using the fine needle.

Step 3

Secure the maggots in place with two simple over hand knots, then trim off the floss tags with your scissors.

Step 4

Small pop ups are an excellent choice of zig bait, a generous squirt of your favourite Korda goo can give them even more attraction.

Step 5

Give your zig rigger even more attraction with a few squirts of betalin.
