The spinning reel in this combo is packed with features and technology, including 4HPCR bearings, a Salt Shield bearing, and a Durametal reel body, all of which contribute to its lightweight performance. A water shield carbon matrix drag has been used on this fishing reel to optimise drag performance and ensure smooth delivery of tension, so as to not exert too much or too little pressure on the hook hold when hooked to a large pike.
The full predator fishing combo packs down into its own dedicated rod sleeve which has space for you to leave the reel on, allowing you to keep your spinning rod set up, maximising time on the bank. The rod sleeve is also padded, which will keep your new rod and reel safe and secure when travelling to and from the bank.
