Featuring a one piece, low profile, machined aluminium frame this reel is incredibly lightweight and highly resistant to saltwater corrosion. Ceramic hybrid bearings drastically reduce friction between the vital moving components of the reel – significantly extending reel life and ensuring that the Ambassadeur is a smooth performer. The carbon matrix drag system also ensures an incredibly smooth drag.
Stainless steel gearing is incredibly hardwearing and allows this reel to perform at a whopping 5.3:1 ratio. This makes it the ideal surfcasting reel and offers sturdy line retrieval. One of the most impressive features on the Ambassadeur 6500i TSR is its magtrax centrifugal brake system. These brakes can be clicked in and out of the reel as required, so you can optimise the reel for your casting style and distance, and the magtrax is operated by sliding the brake adjustment on the left side plate. This striking braking system means that overruns should be a distance memory.
The Ambassadeur 6500i TSR has an aluminium spool that can hold 255m of line. This allows you to cast as far as you require with ease. With multiple operational controls that allow you to control spool speed during your cast you can tailor the performance of this reel to the conditions of the day.
