This all but eliminates body flexing, transforming your actions directly into cranking power.
A reel designed for the angler who demands high power output from their reel, the Stradic FK is also fitted with Hagane gearing. The heart of the reel, the Hagane gears have been cold forged with the use of 3D design software. This means that the gears haven’t had their teeth cut in any way; they were formed perfectly in the first place. As you might imagine this ensures that the gearing is incredibly resilient and highly resistant to wear and tear – the Stradic FK Hagane gearing can withstand extreme stress enabling you to tackle the biggest fish with complete confidence.
This Hagane gearing is supported by Shimano’s innovative X-Ship engineering. X-Ship supports the pinion gear to provide increased durability. This in turn ensures that the pinion gear remains in precise alignment with the drive gear, maintaining reel performance ability under even the most extreme of loads and eliminating the friction between the spool shaft and the gearing for an improved casting performance. Fitted with six S-ARB bearings as well as one roller bearing, the Stradic FK is a smooth performer by all accounts.
The Stradic FK is fitted with a waterproof front drag and the entire drag system is supported by Rigid Support Drag to ensure you’re able to achieve the performance quality you require when you’re on the lightest of drag settings.
